Overview
In his prior role, Mostafa was a cooperating partner at Liberty Mutual, providing remote legal support to trial attorneys nationwide. He worked closely with local trial attorneys to develop comprehensive legal strategies for all stages of litigation and kept claims representatives and policyholders up to date. Mostafa’s duties included drafting pleadings and motions, research, discovery, and communicating with clients.
Earlier in his career, Mostafa was a legal fellow and DOJ-accredited representative at Equal Justice Works AmeriCorps at the Erie County Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Project, Inc. He received the Segal AmeriCorps Education Award for his work. Mostafa is fluent in Arabic and has published articles (available on SSRN and NYSBA) on a variety of legal topics, including legal services, international labor standards, the ethical and technical challenges of ChatGPT electronic publication of legal notices, cultural heritage preservation, UN peacekeeping troops, the dark web, and the international illicit firearms market.
