Overview
Prior to joining Coffey Modica, John was counsel at a mid-sized Manhattan firm and had experience representing individuals, corporations, banks, local government officials, small businesses, and municipalities in administrative hearings, real property transactions and disputes, commercial transactions, election law, and negligence claims on both sides of the bar.
With a background that also includes finance and sales, John takes a global approach to handling claims, seeking to maximize clients’ benefits at the lowest possible cost. This includes productive investigation for risk transfer strategies and expert analysis for early claim valuation.
John lectured for years on topics in the American criminal justice system as an adjunct professor at the City University of New York.
