This training prepared Jim for a career in civil litigation, representing clients in high-exposure, complex matters. He counsels Fortune 100 insurance carriers and insureds – construction companies, contractors, and building owners in New York Labor Law, construction defect and premises liability cases with claims of catastrophic injury and property damage.

One of his most notable cases was related to the attack on the World Trade Center on 9-11, where he represented an aviation security company in the massive litigation. Millions of dollars of property damage claims by plaintiffs including World Trade Center Properties were dismissed. He also has handled cases involving wrongful death claims from crane accidents, helicopter crashes, and workplace accidents, among countless others.

Jim has litigated hundreds of cases in both state and federal courts and has argued before the appellate courts.
