Overview

In his former role as a recruitment consultant, Ross resourced candidates for technology-focused clients in the legal and privacy hiring domains. He advised clients on go-to-market strategies and employee negotiations and prepared candidates for interviews through mock sessions and resignation training.

Earlier in his career, Ross was an associate attorney in Boston, managing matters related to premises liability, personal injury, professional liability, and breach of contract. He was responsible for legal research, discovery, pretrial preparation, client correspondence, case analysis, and drafting legal documents, including motions, subpoenas, and applications for court orders.

Prior to law school, Ross worked alongside senior partners and practitioners in patent litigation preparation for biotechnology, pharmaceutical, software, and energy cases before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), prepared and filed U.S. patent applications, and managed patent portfolios for several multinationals.

Ross was a trustee academic scholar at Suffolk University Law School, received the Jurisprudence Award for Business Entities Fundamentals, and served as a case comment editor for the Suffolk Journal of Trial and Appellate Advocacy. He was a fellow in the Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project. In 2021, he authored “Once Bitten, Twice Shy: The Supreme Court’s Misguided Doubling Down on the Dual Sovereigns Exception to the Fifth Amendment’s Double Jeopardy Clause,” published in the Suffolk Journal of Trial and Appellate Advocacy.
