Overview
With 12 years of practice primarily focused on insurance defense, Larry provides invaluable counsel to the largest insurers and excess insurers, handling their complex, high-exposure general and premises liability and New York Labor Law matters, many of which feature demands in the hundreds of millions of dollars.
One of his most notable cases involved defending a dog food manufacturer accused of selling poisonous food in a proposed class action in federal court. Larry successfully filed a motion opposing the class certification and resolved the case for pennies on the dollar.
He has successfully litigated significant fire and explosion, products liability, premises liability, and construction accident cases. He takes a proactive, thoughtful approach to handling matters and explores different strategies for extricating clients from matters altogether. He puts his clients’ interests above all else, attending site visits immediately following an incident and working closely with experts to preserve evidence to advance the best possible litigation strategy.
