Prior to joining Coffey Modica, John was Counsel at Wade Clark Mulcahy LLP, where he brought assertive yet sincere advocacy skills over a substantial breadth of matters on both sides of the Bar to his role. John continues to successfully defend individuals, corporations, and municipalities in high-exposure labor law, construction defect, premises liability, civil rights, automobile liability and other general liability claims.
In operating his own litigation firm, John advised and represented individuals, developers, cooperative corporations, lenders and local government officials in commercial and residential real property transactions, real property disputes, administrative hearings, federal wage and hour disputes, election law matters, and personal injury claims. John began his legal career at a mid-sized defense firm handling matters of catastrophic injury and medical malpractice.
Before becoming an attorney, John was a Series 7 and 63 licensed associate in big houses on Wall Street and, while attending law school at night, was a sales representative in big pharma. John has also lectured for years on topics in the American criminal justice system as an adjunct professor at the City University of New York. John draws from these experiences in finance, sales, and as a CUNY adjunct professor in servicing the needs and wants of legal clientele.
