Prior to joining Coffey Modica, Yuliya Louis worked as an Assistant District Attorney at the Queens District Attorney’s Office where she managed a high-volume caseload from arraignment through disposition. In this role, she prepared and litigated misdemeanor hearings and jury trials, ensured compliance with discovery obligations, and drafted and filed motion responses.

Prior to her service as an ADA, Yuliya spent two years as a corporate paralegal in the fashion industry, tasked with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating real estate and commercial agreements and managing litigation with external counsel.

She has experience in constitutional litigation, evidentiary hearings and trial advocacy, motion practice, and discovery compliance. Skilled in the development of legal research and dispute resolution skills, Yuliya previously served as a mediator for the New York State Office of the Attorney General.

She obtained her J.D. from City University of New York School of Law where she was Senior Staff Editor for the CUNY Law Review. She graduated cum laude from John Jay College of Criminal Justice with a Bachelor’s in Law and Society.

Yuliya is admitted to practice in New York State.
