Overview

Richard’s practice spans professional liability, business and commercial disputes, real estate and land use conflicts, landlord-tenant matters, eminent domain, bankruptcy, and civil rights litigation. He has successfully handled matters in both state and federal courts, offering clients the benefit of seasoned trial experience and a strategic, client-focused approach. Richard is known for his ability to minimize the disruption and cost of litigation while never compromising on preparation or advocacy.

He began his career as an Assistant Public Defender in Florida, where he gained substantial courtroom experience representing clients in felony and misdemeanor cases. That early foundation shaped his litigation style, giving him the ability to adapt quickly, manage challenging cases, and advocate confidently in front of a jury or at the negotiating table.

Richard earned his J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and his B.A. in Criminal Justice from the University of South Florida. He is admitted to practice in Florida, as well as before the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida.
