Before entering private practice, Evan clerked for the Honorable Melanie G. May at Florida’s Fourth District Court of Appeal. In that role, he gained valuable insight into appellate advocacy, conducting extensive legal research and drafting memoranda on complex issues before the court. In subsequent practice, Evan developed a broad litigation background, managing discovery, drafting dispositive motions, appearing for hearings and oral arguments, and negotiating favorable resolutions for his clients.

Evan also brings a strong foundation of service and leadership. Prior to his legal career, he served honorably in the United States Army Reserve and Florida Army National Guard, completing Airborne School and earning multiple commendations for his dedication and leadership.

From 2001 to 2004, Evan served as a paratrooper, completing U.S. Army Airborne School and earning the Parachutist Badge. He also completed U.S. Army Parachute Rigger School and graduated with honors from Advanced Individual Training, earning the Army Achievement Medal.

Prior to his military service, Evan earned congressional nominations to four United States service academies — a testament to his early dedication to leadership and public service.

Evan brings a structured, disciplined approach to VA disability advocacy. He understands how military records are created, how service documentation is maintained, and how institutional systems function. This perspective allows him to identify evidentiary gaps, strengthen documentation, and build clear, organized claims and appeals.

His service background gives him a meaningful connection to the veterans he represents and reinforces his commitment to thorough, respectful advocacy.

He earned his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law and holds a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Florida Atlantic University.
