Overview
He brings a strong analytical background and experience across both the public and private sectors, with a focus on legal research, writing, and regulatory compliance.
Before joining the firm, Brian served as a judicial fellow at the New York State Second Department Appellate Division, where he reviewed case records, performed legal research, and drafted reports and proposed decisions for the justices. His experience also includes corporate and nonprofit transactional work, entity formation, and contract drafting, as well as intellectual property due diligence and commercialization strategy.
Brian earned his J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law, where he served as a senior research associate at the New York State Science and Technology Law Center and contributed to the Syracuse Journal of International Law and Commerce. He also holds a degree in economics from the University of Ottawa and previously served as an economist with the Canadian federal government.
He is admitted to practice in New York and is an active member of several professional organizations, including the New York State Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Section and the Copyright Society.
