Overview

Amy has tried a wide range of criminal cases, including homicide, attempted murder, violent felonies, and domestic violence matters, and is known for her trial preparation, courtroom advocacy, and ability to manage complex, high-stakes prosecutions.

On the civil side, Amy has worked as part of litigation teams assisting with trial preparation and strategy. She has contributed to the development of trial reports, motion practice, discovery, and case analysis, supporting counsel in building strong defenses and effective courtroom strategies.

She earned her J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law, where she was honored for excellence in criminal law and appellate advocacy, and served as an editor for the Journal of International Law & Commerce. Amy also holds a master’s degree in psychology from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and political science from the University of Delaware.

Amy is admitted to practice in all New York State Courts. She is also an active volunteer in the Buffalo triathlon and running communities. In 2026, she completed the Abbott World Marathon Majors, earning the coveted Six Star Medal after finishing the Boston, New York City, Chicago, Berlin, London, and Tokyo Marathons. Her dedication to marathon running reflects the same discipline, endurance, and commitment she brings to her legal practice.
