Overview

Mostafa Soliman is a seasoned legal professional with a robust background in international and comparative law. He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) focused on International and Comparative Law from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, which has expanded his expertise in cross-border legal matters. ​

Mostafa focuses his practice on defending clients in complex litigation cases. He represented national companies and various entities in general negligence claims, including property owners, general contractors, and businesses under New York Labor Law claims. Mostafa has counseled and defended clients in a wide variety of cases, including motor vehicle accidents, property damage, trip/slip and fall, premises liability, and personal injury claims.

In his prior role, Mostafa served as a cooperating partner at a major insurance company, providing remote legal support to trial attorneys nationwide. He collaborated closely with local trial attorneys to develop comprehensive legal strategies for all stages of litigation, ensuring alignment with both legal best practices and client objectives. His responsibilities encompassed advising on case strategy, conducting in-depth legal research, and preparing persuasive pleadings and motions. Mostafa also played a pivotal role in discovery, analyzing complex case materials, coordinating depositions, and preparing expert and witness examinations. Additionally, he maintained ongoing communication with claims representatives and policyholders, keeping them informed on case progress and legal implications.​

Earlier in his career, Mostafa served as a legal fellow and DOJ-accredited representative with Equal Justice Works AmeriCorps at the Erie County Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Project, Inc., where he provided pro bono legal assistance to underserved communities. His dedication to public service was recognized with the prestigious Segal AmeriCorps Education Award.​

Beyond his legal practice, Mostafa has established himself as a prolific legal scholar, contributing research on diverse and timely legal topics. His published works, available on SSRN and through the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA), explore issues such as access to legal services, international labor standards, and the evolving role of artificial intelligence in the legal field—including the ethical and technical challenges of ChatGPT in electronic legal publications. He has also conducted in-depth analyses on cultural heritage preservation, the regulatory and ethical implications of UN peacekeeping troops, the complexities of the dark web, and the international illicit firearms market.​

Fluent in Arabic, Mostafa brings a global perspective to his legal work, facilitating cross-border legal analysis and enhancing accessibility for clients and legal professionals navigating multilingual legal environments.
