Prior to joining the firm, Samuel served as an Assistant District Attorney with the Kings County District Attorney’s Office. In that role, he managed a high-volume caseload of more than 150 matters, prosecuted cases from arraignment through disposition, and presented 84 cases to the grand jury. He conducted pre-trial hearings, handled witness interviews, developed litigation strategies, and ensured compliance with New York’s discovery obligations.

Samuel also served as a Senior Court Attorney to the Honorable Tehilah Berman in the New York State Unified Court System. In this role, he researched complex legal issues and drafted judicial decisions and orders, gaining valuable insight into judicial reasoning and courtroom procedure.

Earlier in his career, Samuel gained civil litigation experience working at a Bronx-based law firm, where he handled filings and conducted legal research on judgment enforcement and jurisdictional issues. His professional background also includes experience in compliance and financial analysis, where he developed strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Samuel earned his Juris Doctor from New York Law School, where he was awarded a Dean’s Scholarship and served as a Teaching Assistant for Contracts. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in Economics, from Creighton University.
