Overview

Raychel provides clients with strategic guidance at every stage of litigation, from pre-suit counseling through trial. A seasoned trial attorney, Raychel has tried more than two dozen jury trials to verdict in courts across New York City, the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and throughout Westchester, Orange, Ulster, and Nassau Counties. In addition to her jury trial work, she has conducted numerous bench trials, arbitrations before the American Arbitration Association, and mediations with vendors and industry stakeholders. Her extensive courtroom experience allows her to approach every matter with a practical understanding of how cases are won, whether through trial advocacy or strategic resolution.

Raychel’s practice includes the defense of complex construction and New York Labor Law claims, products liability, premises liability, and transportation matters. She is known for her ability to balance aggressive advocacy with efficiency, working closely with clients and experts to evaluate risk, develop trial strategy, and achieve results that align with business objectives. In addition to her litigation practice, Raychel regularly drafts and negotiates contracts, subcontracts, management agreements, and leases, helping clients prevent disputes before they arise.

She has also served as counsel to major insurers, defending a broad range of bodily injury and coverage cases. Outside of her casework, Raychel mentors associates in trial preparation and litigation strategy, and has served as a frequent CLE panelist for the National Business Institute, presenting on topics including Anatomy of a Construction Defect, How Indemnity Provisions and Other Contract Clauses Impact Liability, Construction Contracts: Issues and Challenges, and Mechanic’s and Construction Liens and Payment Issues.

Raychel earned her J.D. from Western New England University School of Law and is admitted to practice in New York State, as well the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
