Overview
An experienced litigator with more than 20 years of defending insurance companies and their insureds, Tricia has litigated cases throughout New York’s five boroughs, Westchester County, Long Island and in the majority of upstate venues, in both state and federal court. She has tried cases to verdict and has been instrumental in bringing about settlement in cases where containing the client’s risk was tantamount.
Tricia’s clients appreciate her collaborative, detail-oriented approach to handling matters and her aggressive means of resolving them. She is especially skilled at building consensus among involved parties on how to handle complex matters and employs all viable methods of resolution to meet her clients’ goals and objectives.
Tricia’s clients benefit from her background working as outside counsel and as in-house corporate counsel, providing her with an acute understanding of what it means for an organization to have and manage competing priorities, and as such is accomplished at navigating those issues. She regularly speaks at industry events on New York Labor Law and has been asked by one of the country’s largest insurers to provide continuing legal education classes.
