Lauren Gallo


Lauren Gallo is an associate in Coffey Modica’s Long Island offices, where she leverages her extensive expertise in insurance litigation to serve national insurance carriers. Lauren was formerly at Wilson, Elser, Moskowitz, Edelman & Dicker, LLP and represented clients in cases concerning general liability, New York labor law, gaming, and hospitality-related risks.

During her career, Lauren has overseen a significant caseload of litigation files from inception to trial, ensuring client satisfaction through meticulous depositions, court appearances, and settlement negotiations and providing a comprehensive analysis and reporting to insurance carriers.

Previously, Lauren was an associate attorney at Bartlett LLP. There, she represented clients in New York No-Fault/PIP automobile claims and general liability matters, adeptly managing litigation and arbitration cases from start to finish. Her role involved conducting depositions, attending arbitration hearings and court appearances, negotiating settlements, and preparing substantive legal documents.

Lauren’s journey in insurance litigation began at the Law Office of Goldstein & Flecker, serving as GEICO Staff Counsel. In this capacity, she represented the insurance carrier in all No-Fault/PIP automobile litigation and arbitration proceedings across Long Island and New York City, handling a caseload of up to 1,200 cases, conducting examinations under oath and trials, and ensuring diligent preparation and comprehensive legal research.

Her initial role in the field was as an associate attorney at Bruno, Gerbino & Soriano, LLP, where she managed a large caseload of New York No-Fault/PIP automobile claims from inception through disposition, fostering client relationships while providing in-depth analysis and quality reporting.

Lauren’s academic foundation at Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, includes being a CALI Award recipient for Academic Excellence in Holocaust Law and Human Trafficking. She received the Exemplary Contribution to the Quality of Student Life Award. Lauren also earned the Suffolk County Women’s Bar Association Barbara Mehrman Scholarship, reflecting her commitment to legal excellence and community service. Lauren honed her leadership skills during her tenure as President and Secretary of the Women’s Bar Association.
