Jennifer Vilca

Associate

Jennifer Vilca serves as an associate in Coffey Modica’s New York offices. She has extensive experience in various legal areas that include trademarks, UCC filings, no-fault disputes, motor vehicle accidents, and premises liability matters.

Overview

Jennifer has represented plaintiffs in various types of personal injury-related disputes, with a focus on motor vehicle accidents and slip and falls. Separately, she has appeared on behalf of medical providers in AAA arbitration hearings regarding no fault disputes. She has successfully negotiated with medical providers and insurance carriers to resolve unpaid claims and achieve desirable outcomes.

Prior to law school, she served as a judicial intern at the US District Court for the Eastern District and at the Queens County Criminal Court. During her time at Hofstra Law, Jennifer served on the Family Court Review journal, the Executive Board of the Latin American Law Student Association, and as a legal extern for the Nassau County Attorney’s Office. She is proficient in conversational Spanish.
