Joohyun (Jay) Kim is an associate in Coffey Modica’s White Plains office, where he focuses his practice on product liability, professional liability, and general and premises liability.
Overview
Prior to joining the firm, Jay worked at New York and New Jersey law firms where he handled complex litigation matters, drafted pleadings and various types of motions, engaged in settlement negotiations, and assisted in trial preparation.
During law school, Jay worked as a Student Attorney at the Duke Law Health Justice Clinic and Children’s Law Clinic, where he represented local clients in their Social Security and disability appeals. Upon graduation from law school, Jay clerked in the New Jersey Superior Court, Criminal Division for the Honorable Gary N. Wilcox before entering private practice.
Jay is fluent in Korean.
