Before joining Coffey Modica, Evelyn was a paralegal at a prominent New York firm specializing in insurance coverage and defense litigation. There, she drafted correspondence to counsel, processed medical authorizations, and filed motions, appeals, pleadings, and discovery on appropriate court portals. Her experience includes preparing exhibits for motions and drafting various legal documents.

Evelyn also served as a court case processing clerk and jury clerk at the US District Court in Central Islip, NY. In these roles, she managed case filings, performed quality control checks for attorney case openings, and conducted jury selections and orientations.

In previous roles as a paralegal, Evelyn drafted complaints, answers, and discovery documents for pharmaceutical litigation matters. She maintained client contact and assisted in settling liens to proceed with client settlements.
