Domenick Esposito

Associate

An associate in Coffey Modica’s New York offices, Domenick Esposito supports litigation teams within the firm’s Casualty and Construction & Construction Defect Litigation practices.

Overview

Domenick’s lifelong ambition to become a litigator/trial attorney led him to find internships, while attending law school, that prepared him with the skills to be an effective lawyer. These included positions with the Westchester District Attorney’s Office, Bronx County District Attorney’s Office, Barbara C. Salken Criminal Justice Clinic at Pace Law School, and a local litigation firm. Domenick’s law school experience has provided him with an early and in-depth exposure to the various aspects of practicing law, allowing him to develop the tools necessary to have an immediate impact.

Under a student practice order, Domenick has made numerous court appearances, prepared legal arguments, developed case strategies, carried out extensive legal research and writing, participated in pre-trial conferences, engaged in settlement negotiations, and worked closely in the pre-trial discovery process. As a result of working on both the defense and plaintiff side, Domenick has developed a knack to analyze a case from his adversary’s perspective.

While at Pace Law School, Domenick was the recipient of the Barbara C. Salken Criminal Justice Clinic’s Anton Pribysh Award, which is given by the clinic’s professors to the student who had the biggest impact on the lives of their clients.
